Jen Pascoe
MUSE: What is your vow as a Nia teacher?
Jen: I vow to provide a healing and safe space for students to discover, develop and engage in the joy of movement. We all come from different walks in life, and I realize that all walks are sacred and meant to be honored. Through these walks we come to understand and radiate our being in regards to our Selves, bodies and communities. As an instructor and eternal student, I honor every student’s path and look only to help each person continue in joy and peace. And, of course, help create a little more fun and relaxation!
MUSE: Therefore, who is your student?
Jen: My student is anyone and everyone looking to discover a healthy, fun and healing form of movement. All I ask is that you enter the class with an open heart and leave your chattery mind at the door. Nia is a time to let go of your stress and worries, and BE in your body.
MUSE: What do you think is the most profound aspect of the study of Nia?
Jen: I believe the most profound aspect of Nia is its ability to allow the student to re-connect with their bodies and begin to form true self-love and acceptance. It is only by letting go and accepting that we can finally find deliverance.
What is Nia?
